Sometimes it is hard to find this balance between work and relaxing but if you’re not careful, it can result in burnout which could be detrimental for your career.
Keep a positive mindset.
It’s important to keep a positive mindset, especially when working. This means focusing on the things that you are grateful for and what you have achieved so far. It also means trying to maintain a positive attitude at work, even if it is difficult in some circumstances.
Maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Work-life balance is important for both your mental and physical health. A healthy work-life balance means that you are able to take time off from work to enjoy life, but also that you can return to work and be productive.
Healthy habits include:
- Taking regular breaks from your desk, especially if you spend a lot of time at the computer or in meetings;
- Getting up and moving around every hour (even if just for five minutes);
- Spending time with friends outside of work;
